More Details and FAQs

What's a typical day out like?

I aim to collect your dog between 9am and 10:30am. By mid-late morning we will be at our destination for the day and ready to go. We do two walks, split by a half-hour break, and we aim to leave from around 3pm ready to get your dog back to you in the late afternoon.

Do I need to provide anything?

We just ask you to to provide a collar with ID and a harness, and if you would like to provide your dog with a small lunch we can make sure they get that during the break, as well as plenty of water. In colder months we ask you to provide a jumper or jacket for your dog to wear. They'll keep warmer and come back cleaner! I bring a supply of healthy treats to keep your dog's attention - if your dog has special dietary requirements you will need to provide your own.

How many dogs are in the group?

I maintain a maximum group size of five including my dog, Ned.

What happens on the initial visit?

This is a chance for me to meet you and your dog. We'll go on a short walk to see how your dog interacts with you, me and other dogs. There'll be plenty of time for you to ask questions and I'll bring all my documentation along. If we're both happy we'll bring you on board for a trial day and then schedule your walks.

How does billing work?

I'll send you a bill on the 23rd of the month, with full payment expected by the 30th.

What GPS dog trackers do you use?

We use Tractive trackers. They provide live GPS information and I'll send you the route we took each day.
