More Details and FAQs
What's a typical walk like?
For morning walks I aim to collect your dog from 9am and return them by 12pm. For afternoon walks I aim for collection around 1pm and return around 4pm. Once we've arrived at our destination for the day and we walk at an easy pace allowing time for plenty of sniffing and play ready to come back happy and calm. I also take dogs for the whole day which means that they will have two walks with a rest for a light lunch that you can provide if required.
Do I need to provide anything?
I just ask you to to provide a collar with ID and a harness. In colder months we ask you to provide a jumper or jacket for your dog to wear. They'll keep warmer and come back cleaner! I bring a supply of healthy treats to keep your dog's attention - if your dog has special dietary requirements you will need to provide your own.
How many dogs are in the group?
Usually a group of not more than four including my dog, Ned, but occasionally a group of five.
What happens on the initial visit?
This is a chance for me to meet you and your dog. We'll go on a short walk to show me how your dog interacts with you, me and other dogs. There'll be plenty of time for you to ask questions - I'll bring all my documentation along - and we'll go through all the necessary information about you and your dog. If we're both happy we'll schedule our first proper walks together.
How does billing work?
I'll send you an invoice on the 23rd of the month, with full payment expected by the 30th.
What GPS dog trackers do you use?
We use Tractive trackers - considered among the best dedicated GPS tracking solutions for preventing lost dogs due to their highly accurate, real-time location updates. They provide live GPS information which means I know where your dog is at all times and can provide you with the route we took that day.
